Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process
The Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) of Noel Pharma (India) Private Limited was initiated under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, pursuant to an order dated 23.07.2026 passed by the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench, in Company Petition IB/12/7/HDB/2025.
Mr. Hemanshu Jetley, IBBI Registration No. IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P-00219/2017-2018/10457, has been appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional of the Corporate Debtor vide the same order.
Company profile
Noel Pharma (India) Private Limited (NPIPL) is engaged in the manufacturing of semi-ethical, generic and OTC (over-the-counter) FMCG pharmaceutical medicines, offering pharmaceutical and therapeutic products across the Life Care, Nova Care, Bio-Life and Bright Life categories. Its manufacturing unit is located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
The company is a Private Limited Company incorporated on 15 November 2012 under the Companies Act as a company limited by shares, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Hyderabad.
Promoters
As per records of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Corporate Debtor has two promoters:
- Venkataiah Sandrapalle
- Gundluru Masthan
Moratorium under Section 14 of the Code
In consonance with the stipulations contained in Section 14 of the Code, a moratorium has been declared vide the order of the Hon'ble NCLT, whereby, inter alia, the following are prohibited:
Institution of suits or continuation of pending suits or proceedings against the Corporate Debtor, including execution of any judgment, decree or order in any court of law, tribunal, arbitration panel or other authority.
Transferring, encumbering, alienating or disposing of, by the Corporate Debtor, any of its assets or any legal right or beneficial interest therein.
Any action to foreclose, recover or enforce any security interest created by the Corporate Debtor in respect of its property, including any action under the SARFAESI Act, 2002.
The recovery of any property by an owner or lessor where such property is occupied by or in the possession of the Corporate Debtor.
Claims submission & creditors' process
As per the provisions of Section 15 of the IBC, 2016 read with Regulation 6 of the IBBI (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) Regulations, 2016, the Interim Resolution Professional has made a public announcement inviting claims from all creditors of Noel Pharma (India) Private Limited.
The public announcement was published on 25 July 2026 in Financial Express (English), Jansatta (Hindi) and Mana Telangana (Telugu). As per the public announcement, the last date for submission of claims is 06 August 2026.
